Q: How do I know you're the right voice for my project?
A: You don't. But chances are, unless you're looking for a female voice or a really young kid's voice, I can provide what you're looking for. It may not be the exact voice in your head, but I guarantee it will be worth considering.
Q: Well, your demos are great, but I'd love to hear your voice reading my words. Is that possible?
A: Sure. Just complete and submit the form on the Contact page. You can enter the text of your script in the box and I'll send you back a custom audition so you can get an idea of what I sound like reading your script.
Q: Okay, I love the way you sound reading my script and I'm all set to hire you. What are your rates?
A: Here's the thing - every project is different. Are you producing a local radio spot? A national TV spot? Audio for a website? An instructional DVD you'll be selling at a trade show? If you fill out that form and tell me about the project, I can give you a realistic quote. And, if there are specific budget constraints, that form is a good place to mention them.
Q: Can you give me a quote over the phone?
A: That would be great. That way, you can hear what a pleasant easy-going guy I am, and you can hear what I sound like when I'm not reading a script.
Q: What do you mean by "When You Can't Afford To Experiment"?
A: Let's face it. In recent years, it seems that pretty much anyone with a computer and a microphone has claimed to be a voice talent. And, if you've had the occasion to look for talent, you've discovered the fact that it takes more than equipment to be a voice artist. Your project is an important one. You can't afford to experiment. It makes sense to hire someone with the years of experience, qualifications and knowledge of the business, to deliver your message the way it was meant to be heard. I consider myself among that select group, and I'd love the opportunity to prove that to you.
Q: I have more questions, but this is the end of the page.
A: Well, you have a couple of options. There's always the telephone, as mentioned above. I don't bite (at least not over the phone), and I'd love to chat with you about your project. Of course if you'd rather use email, that's fine, too. Just use the form on my Contact page.
